New Clients

During your initial appointment, an assessment will be performed to gather information and you will have the opportunity to decide if Adamo is the right fit for you. We want you to be confident with your choice of counselling service and offer you the freedom to decide without feeling pressured or obligated.

It is helpful for us to know a few details prior to your arrival and therefore it is best to contact us by phone to schedule your first appointment. If that is not convenient, you can always contact us by email or book an appointment on-line using our booking service, in which case you may be contacted by phone or email for any information we require from you.

Subsequent visits are billed at the rate of $85. per hour. (There are no added taxes; that is your total.) If you have a private insurance plan, you may want to check with them beforehand to see if they cover counselling services and what their stipulations are regarding costs, number of sessions allowed, and the types of counselling they will cover. Many insurance plans do not cover marriage and couples counselling.

At Adamo, we maintain very reasonable rates because we feel it is important for quality counselling to be available to more people. That is why we insisted on locating our service where there is a parking lot and the parking is free. We know reaching out for help can be difficult and we care about the little things, along with the big things, that will ease the process for you.
